Needle Nannies, also known as Needle keeper. They are magnetic items that keep track of your needle when you embroider and cross stitch.

There is a magnet inside of the needle nanny. So you can stick it to your refrigerator when not using it. A metal ring sits on the back of your project and holds the needle nanny securely to the project.
