The Original Spiral Eye Needle – SE-1
The SE-1 is the original side threading needle.
The diameter of the needle only changes at the point. There is no tapering or hollowing out around the eye. Popular for some long arm quilters for burying lots of thread.
Photo compares SE-1 with an SE-4. They are similar in size, but the SE-4 has the next generation eye that better prevents catching of the thread.
